Overall I found the book very refreshing and written in an engaging style. It is basically a management handbook, with clear recommendations from a to z on how a company should proceed. Very nice. Whenever I will engage specifically with Community Involvement in the future, I'll certainly refer back to it. Specifically on the topic of communication, Andrew Crane at a conference spoke very much to the point: 'Communication does not talk about the CSR program, but is the CSR program.' Especially with the authors' approach and understanding of Community Involvement as I understood it, I would confirm this view.
